If you’re age 13 to 18 and live within the Austin city limits, you’re eligible to apply to be the next Austin Youth Poet Laureate.

And to get ready, the Library Foundation is sponsoring a series of FREE online workshops to help young poets develop their portfolios. Austin poets Darrell Limuel and Bianca Alyssa Pérez will lead young poets through the application process, from drafting and generating poems to compiling a resume.
