Join us for the chapbook launch for the 2024 Austin Youth Poet Laureate, Ella Kim.
Ella will read from her debut poetry chapbook, Vanities, published by Abode Press.
Ella will be joined by Zell Miller III, Austin’s current Poet Laureate, as well as Austin Youth Poet Laureate finalists Aly Clark and Beatrix Lozach.
A senior at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School, Ella has been editor and graphic designer for The Bell, the school’s newspaper, and involved in theater, acting in numerous plays and musicals. She recently won First Prize in Princeton University’s Lewis Center of the Arts Ten-Minute Play contest. She will be attending Yale in the Fall.
